Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and BizHack Academy support small businesses impacted by COVID by providing additional 1-hour Master Class sessions on Holiday Marketing, Lead Generation, and Digital Marketing Trends for 2022

MIAMI ( November 01, 2021 ) — Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava’s Strive 305 Small Business Initiative and Miami-based BizHack Academy have added three additional digital marketing training sessions in 2021 for small businesses impacted by COVID, with additional training planned for 2022.

The first three interactive #BizHackLive sessions held over the previous month had strong attendance, thanks to extensive promotion from more than a dozen partner organizations. More than 250 business owners and entrepreneurs attended the first three sessions, with 73% of participants reporting their business was negatively impacted by COVID. This new series of master classes, which include media sponsor WPBT South Florida PBS, will continue to serve the small business community with cutting-edge content, interactive exercises and resource-rich handouts.

Strive 305 is an initiative of the Miami-Dade Mayor’s Office of Equity and Inclusion that provides resources, technical assistance and collaborative spaces where small business owners can learn and support one another. These Master Classes are part of an ecosystem of support to help the small businesses that are the lifeblood of the county economy.

“The positive response to the first series confirmed that our small businesses are eager for opportunities to learn, expand and grow their marketing potential,” said Mayor Levine Cava. “We are grateful for our partnership with BizHack Academy and their commitment to continue offering this invaluable support and capacity building to Miami-Dade’s entrepreneurs and small business owners driving our economic recovery.”

Season 2 of the #BizHackLive Digital Marketing Master Class Series will feature BizHack Certified instructors offering actionable tips for holiday marketing, lead generation strategies, and digital marketing trends for 2022. These live webinar sessions will help business owners and entrepreneurs find customers online by upgrading their digital presence during the holidays and into the New Year.

“The need for this type of hands-on training is clear and urgent,” says Dan Grech, founder and CEO of BizHack Academy. “We need to invest in upskilling our business owners so they can survive and thrive in this post-COVID, tech-dominated environment. Our mission with these Master Classes is simple: we want to give local businesses a simpler way to grow.”

The Master Classes are part of the award-winning #BizHackLive webinar series, which were recognized nationally by the American Marketing Association and PR Daily for their contributions in support of small businesses during the pandemic.
