Lilia Pozos is BizHack’s Director of Marketing Communications and will be your point of contact on all administrative issues related to the course. She manages BizHack’s growing alumni network and organizes our weekly #BizHackLive speaker series. She is a Public Relations and Strategic Communication professional with more than 8 years of experience in different industries such as tourism, entertainment, luxury, lifestyle, and entrepreneurship.
Lilia has worked for brands such as Chivas Regal, Twitter, Apple, Latin GRAMMYs, E! Entertainment Television, 500 Startups, The Wynwood Yard, among others. She was the leader of the Public Relations campaign “The Venture by Chivas Regal” which won first place in the “Change Communication” category at the 2015 Latin American Excellence Awards. She has coordinated interviews with Javier Bardem, Oscar Isaac, Alexandra Park, and William Moseley. She has a Diploma in Strategic Planning from the Anahuac University of Mexico City, a Certification in Digital Marketing from BizHack Academy, she is also graduate from CLEAR, a Climate Change and community leadership program by Catalyst Miami and graduated from CREATE, a program for early-stage entrepreneurs by
The Idea Center at Miami-Dade College and a Certified Climate Change Speaker from Cleo Institute. She founded her social endeavor called Your Green Mermaid, a bilingual digital platform about environmental education, plastic pollution, toxic ingredients, and sustainable lifestyle. She organizes educational events and workshops for the Miami community where she talks about these topics and encourages people to reduce their waste and trash. She recently launched her line of eco-friendly and sustainably sourced products made in the U.S. by hand.
