Jaimee Spector oversees all organizational development and marketing. She brings a breadth of knowledge to the Miami Waterkeeper team with experience in annual giving, digital marketing, media relations, events management, grant development, and major gifts. Jaimee joined Miami Waterkeeper with more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit industry. As a certified fundraising executive, she has worked across the spectrum of communications and fund development, including direct marketing, traditional and digital media management, event planning, annual giving, major gifts, and grant development. Jaimee also has experience with strategic planning, volunteer management, and board development, and she currently volunteers as a board member for Agape Therapy Institute in Orlando, Fla., and as Co-Chair of the research committee for the Women’s Fund of Miami-Dade.
Jaimee earned her M.S. in Management Studies with a specialization in Leadership from the University of Miami Business School, her M.A. in Media & Communication Studies from Florida State University, and her B.S.C. from the University of Miami School of Communication. She has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Communication and at Nova Southeastern University’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business & Entrepreneurship.
