In a world saturated with profit-centric marketing, BizHack is building a community driven by a different set of standards. From the very beginning, BizHack has always championed businesses that make the world a better place – and it all started with Dan Grech.
Dan Grech is the founder and CEO of BizHack, a Pulitzer Prize-winning former NPR and PBS journalist turned entrepreneur and educator. He was a correspondent for NPR’s Marketplace, PBS’s Nightly Business Report, and The Miami Herald; and an instructor at Princeton, Columbia, and University of Miami. Venturing into the business realm, he became the head of marketing at two software startups and the nation’s largest Hispanic-owned energy company.
During his executive tenure, Dan identified a significant market gap where purpose-driven marketing should stand. With many companies sidelining their core values for increased profits, he envisioned a different approach. Since its inception in 2017, BizHack has delivered digital growth training to numerous businesses, from Miami-Dade startups to global Fortune 500 corporations.
2020’s global challenges, exacerbated by Covid-19, spotlighted a need: beyond marketing training, companies required experienced leadership to revitalize their marketing initiatives. Traditional hires like CMOs were often costly.
The solution? BizHack’s innovative Fractional CMO services. In just a year, a team of 40 Fractional CMOs was established, offering growth-focused companies adept marketing leadership without the full-time CMO expenses. This fleet has since expanded to over 60 outsourced, part-time marketing leaders.
Selected for their marketing acumen and leadership prowess, these leaders also resonate with a shared mission: giving back to the community and nurturing the next generation of successful entrepreneurs.
The digital landscape underwent a seismic shift in November 2022 with the emergence of advanced tools like ChatGPT and the proliferation of free and affordable AI solutions accessible to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
Sensing an unparalleled opportunity, Dan Grech quickly recognized the transformative power of these tools. He saw their potential not only in enhancing productivity but also in significantly driving down operational costs, thus, turbocharging growth.
In response to AI advancements, BizHack integrated AI-focused strategies across its services. Our Fractional CMOs are selected for their AI expertise, and our curriculum now includes AI-specific courses in Marketing and Sales. We also host free AI Masterclasses, sponsored by the Mayor of Miami Dade County, and have enriched our ally network with AI-specialized companies. At BizHack, we’re spearheading the AI evolution.
Today, BizHack stands as a comprehensive service hub for burgeoning small to medium-sized businesses offering a new solution for faster growth. Our offerings span Fractional CMOs, diverse marketing training modules (both live and recorded), and an ally network of vetted companies to address specific marketing challenges, propelling sustained growth.
Clients now obtain a comprehensive set of marketing services that incorporate the latest AI tools enabling them to establish a competitive edge and equip their marketing teams for long-term growth.
BizHack was honored with awards from the American Marketing Association and Ragan’s PR Daily, recognized as a Top Startup by The Miami Herald, and was named a 2023 Minority-Owned Business of the Year in the American Business Awards. The awards recognize our commitments to the following 4 areas.
